The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is extending the date for employers to remit their mandatory contribution for the months of September 2020 until December 2020, from the 15th to the 30th of each month respectively.

The EPF had previously provided the extension from April 2020 until August 2020, as a response to ease the burden of employers considering the uncertainties surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

EPF extended this flexibility following the Government’s recent announcement to extend the Recovery Control Movement Order (RMCO) until 31 December 2020.

Employers can now make their contributions on the EPF website via the i-Akaun (Employer) portal, Internet banking or by visiting the counter of appointed banks.
